Answering Common Survey Questions

A week has passed since the surveys were sent out and we wanted to say thank you to everyone who has filled out their survey so far! Over the course of the week, we've received a handful of questions surrounding the surveys, and we wanted to provide an update that may address your concerns.
Please note - surveys have only gone out to Wave 1 at this time. Wave 2 is still planned to go out in December.
Apple ID Backers
We've had several inquiries of backers not receiving their surveys due to their Kickstarter email being an Apple ID (@privaterelay.appleid.com). The following is from BackerKit help:
Backers who have pledged to the campaign using their AppleID but haven't completely set up their Apple Pay account (linking their email address to their Apple Wallet) will have issues receiving their emails from BackerKit.
If you fall into this category, please send a Kickstarter Message directly to our account. In the email, please provide an alternate email address that we can send the BackerKit survey to.
To send us a direct message, scroll down to where you can see our logo, and click on "Zero Strategy Games".
This will bring up the following screen. Click on "Contact Me" at the bottom.
In the dialog box that appears, please include the email you would like to get the BackerKit survey sent to. We will then update your email and get the survey sent shortly!
Local Pickup
If you are local to the Central Pennsylvania area, we are offering local pick-up at the Adventurer's Guild. In order to select Local Pickup, complete the following steps:
- Navigate to the Shipping Section of your survey
- Open the dropdown for Country
- Select "Local Pickup"
- Fill out the remaining fields with "N/A".
First Round of Pledge Surveys!

BackerKit Survey Next Steps
After workshopping solutions with BackerKit, we've come up with a solid solution to get the surveys out to as many people as possible now. We will be sending out multiple rounds of surveys to work around the issues we have been having with the late pledges. Here's the breakdown:
- Round 1 - Backers who pledged during the Kickstarter Campaign
- Round 2 - Backers who pledged after the Kickstarter Campaign
Round 1 covers the majority of our backers and will take place later today!
Round 2 will take place once we turn off the Late Pledges from Kickstarter. We plan to turn off the Late Pledges when our manufacturer needs us to provide final production numbers for Shuffle Dungeons and add-ons. We expect this to be in December, and we'll follow up with additional details when we get closer to it.
If you have any questions about this process or what group you fall into, please reach out to us!
BackerKit Survey Guide
Since some of our backers may not be familiar with BackerKit, we wanted to provide a resource that gives more information about how to fill out your survey. Backerkit has the following help page that gives instructions on how to do so: How do I fill out my survey? - BackerKit Help.
Production Update and Survey Delay

Production Status
Yesterday, we reviewed the Shuffle Dungeons digital proofs from the manufacturer. Other than one small error, everything looked great! We have since resolved the error and resubmitted the impacted file.
Our next step for production is for the manufacturer to create our production prototype to make sure all of the pieces come out as expected. They estimate 2-4 weeks for this process, and we'll be sure to keep you informed on any updates!
BackerKit Survey Delay
As we mentioned in our previous update, we sent out a test to a small number of backers to make sure the Pledge Surveys were functioning as expected. Based on the results so far, our surveys are working as intended.
However, BackerKit has encountered a technical issue affecting our project. Due to the new "Late Pledges" feature from Kickstarter, BackerKit is having difficulty importing our data from Kickstarter. We thought the issue was remedied when sending out our initial test, but we have since learned the problem is ongoing.
Because of this, BackerKit has requested we hold off on sending the remaining surveys until the issue is resolved. Once we are confident a solution is in place, we will inform you and send out the surveys promptly.
Pledge Survey Update

Thank you all for your patience with getting the surveys ready. Today, we sent out a test to 5% of our backers to make sure everything is running smoothly. As long as there are no issues found, we expect to send out the surveys to our remaining backers next week!
Note about the Surveys
For those of you familiar with BackerKit, there will be one slight change to the usual survey process. Because we did late pledges for Shuffle Dungeons, BackerKit is unable to import the purchased add-ons from Kickstarter.
If you purchased an add-on, there will be a credit to your account in BackerKit. All you need to do is reselect your add-on purchases to ensure you receive your rewards.
If you have any questions, please reach out to us!
Deck Tower Mock-Up and More!

Another two weeks has gone by and we've been busy as ever. We have made some awesome progress and wanted to share it with you all!
Production Update
After a back and forth on our design files, the manufacturer has approved them! Next, they will provide digital proofs for our review to ensure the files will print as we expected. If everything looks good, the manufacturer will begin working on our prototype.
Pledge Management Surveys
We will be sending out our surveys shortly after we figure out everyone's favorite topic... taxes. Making sure we comply with all sales tax in the US and VAT taxes internationally is taking slightly longer than expected, so it may be another week or two until the surveys go out.
Deck Tower Mock-Up
We wanted to thank you for your patience as you waited for our Deck Tower Mock-Up. We took the assets and made 3D model in blender so you could see what it looked like assembled. Once we get our prototype, we'll share some additional pictures of the physical tower, but enjoy these shots in the meantime!
